Nominations for next year's Financial Mentors will be open in Autumn 2027 to recognise professional excellence.
Long Service awards will not require any nomination and will be automatically arranged by FinCap, So you don't miss out when it's your turn, please make sure that FinCap has your financial mentor/budget advisor training records so your longevity in the sector can be recognised.
Team of the Year
- What are we celebrating?
- A team that works brilliantly together and supports their clients and community through financial mentoring.
- Criteria
- Demonstrates exceptional teamwork and collaboration within the financial mentoring sector.
- Achieves measurable outcomes in mentoring clients / community and enhancing financial literacy
- Actively participates in community engagement and outreach activities
- Provides innovative solutions and resources to support clients
Financial Mentor of the Year
- Who are we celebrating?
- A fully qualified financial mentor who’s gone above and beyond for their clients and the wider mentoring community.
- Criteria
- Must be a fully qualified Financial Mentor (who has been signed off from Supervision)
- Exemplifies outstanding commitment to mentoring and client support throughout the year
- Achieves exceptional results with clients, demonstrating measurable impact on their financial well-being
- Shares knowledge and expertise with peers and contributes to the mentoring community
- Acts as a role model, inspiring others through dedication and leadership
Rising Star
- Who are we celebrating?
- Someone new to the sector (qualified or under supervision since May 2024) who’s already making a big impact.
- Criteria
- Any financial mentor who is newly qualified or under supervision in their role since May 2024 and has made significant contributions in their role
- Demonstrates a strong commitment to client success and learning
- Shows exceptional potential for growth and development in financial mentoring
- Engages with peers and seeks opportunities for professional development
